MCA / MACORG/ Belgian-Dutch symposium

Below is a call for paper from the Management Control Association – thanks to Dr Julia Mundy.

Our annual two-day symposium this year will take place at ESCP Europe, Paris from 11-12 September 2014 (approx. lunchtime 11th to early afternoon 12th). This year, for the first time, the symposium will consist of three groups: MACORG (France), colleagues based in Belgium and The Netherlands, and MCA. We are very grateful to our colleagues at ESCP Europe for hosting this event.

In line with our usual format, papers will be presented by members of each group, followed by a discussant from one of the other two groups. If you wish to submit a paper for consideration, please note the following deadlines:

10th May: extended abstracts of 500-750 words or full papers to be sent as follows:
members of MACORG – to pzarlowski@escpeurope.eu
colleagues based in Belgium or The Netherlands – to f.h.m.verbeeten@uva.nl
all other submissions – to mca@gre.ac.uk

end of May – authors to be advised of decision

15th June: deadline for offer to be a discussant, with any specific interests (same contacts as above)

7th July: deadline for full papers, which will be forwarded to the discussants before they depart for the summer period

Further details on the programme, location, etc will be available at a later date.

Please note that participants will be required to pay for transport to ESCP Europe, accommodation, and taxi transfers between airport or station.

We look forward to seeing you in Paris.

Best regards

Julia Mundy
